Regional databases

AQWABase

Organisation Water and Rivers Commission
Data Bore details Geological data, bore depth, driller, general location, water levels, water quality
Contact (08) 92780300 Not online but can email search requests
Comments This is the Water and Rivers Commissions water bore database. Although this database does not hold information on all bores in Western Australia, it likely holds the greatest variety of bores.  It is not known what percentage of bores are held in AQWABase; domestic bores are least likely to be present, bores drilled by government or companies requiring groundwater licences are more likely to be present.  It is good for gaining background information and may give leads to further information.

SWRIS

Organisation Water and Rivers Commission / Water Corporation
Data Time variant water level and quality data, generally on government monitored bores and river gauging stations
Contact (08) 92780300 select river level data online
Comments This data set provides perhaps the most extensive and regional time variant information on groundwater and surface water.

LAVA

Organisation Water Corporation (Drilling Consultancy)

Contact (08) 9420 2946
Comments The Water Corporation formerly the Water Authority and Public Works Dept. have drilled the majority of government water bores for towns and communities.  LAVA contains drilling details on many of these bores.
